Non è comune il fatto che per quattro generazioni in una famiglia si operi nello stesso tipo di attività. Eppure a Cortona esiste una famiglia Lorenzini rappresentata oggi dalla Ditta “L.M. Lorenzini Mobili”.
Dal 1876, probabilmente per vocazione, attitudine e passione si parte con l’attività di falegname.
Molti gli ostacoli da superare viste le difficoltà dell’epoca, ma che oggi, grazie all’insegnamento tramandatosi da padre in figlio, è riuscita a creare ed a mantenere una delle aziende più vecchie e diciamo più organizzate nel settore dei mobili artigianali.
Intorno al 1950 l’azienda decide di ampliarsi facendo nascere in Via Nazionale,in pieno centro della città di Cortona , il negozio chiamato “Artigianato”.
Il nome prende spunto proprio dalla produzione di mobili in stile toscano.
Gli hanno passano e la quarta generazione entra a far parte dell’azienda. Si decide così di associare all’arredamento anche la vendita di oggettistica.
Anno dopo anno, arrivati ad oggi, il negozio appare agli occhi del visitatore come un ambiente piacevole ed accogliente, ricco di articoli esclusivamente Made in Italy.
Ceramiche fatte e dipinte a mano, la bellezza del legno di olivo trasformato da mani esperte in oggetti utili per la casa, quadri tipicamente toscani e tanti altri articoli rendono il negozio apprezzato da molti turisti italiani e stranieri.

Finding a family surviving from four generation on his activity is unusual. Lorenzini family today represented by a business company named “L. M.” on business since 1976 passing on from generations the art of wood work. The factory located in Camucia producing wise range of furniture like kitchens, sofa-bed, hand decorated cabinet, chair and sofa, chest and many others
On 1950 the Artigianato Lorenzini Shop opens his doors. Locate in the centre of the Town of Cortona when first open was only selling piece of furniture.
Today the shop offer many products; Like hand make Ceramics from Tuscany and Bassano Town (North Italy). The beauty of the olive trees wood shaped from precious master hands in to useful tools. Typical Tuscan paints printed on wood panels and famed, hand glass decorated in assorted colours, many others articles appreciate from costumers from all over the world.
